130,000 VND for 2 bowls of Pho and 1 beer from a street vendor. About $5 US for dinner. You can tell we liked it and you can tell we didn't eat the chilis :-) View from breakfast from the roof of our hotel, Hotel Bloom Saigon, in District 1. Construction cranes, like every other big city. Similar design to a gorgeous building in Kuala Lumpur. Streets are quiet on a Sunday morning.

Looking down on a park nearby. Lunch - Pho soup again. Can you tell we like this dish? Chicken Pho this time. Coke can has CNY decorations too. As we walk through a "wet market", a pair of rats scurry away

They are big and fat. Rat is barely visible in the shadows this side of the blue cylinder. Street cleaning crews in the late evening (about 10pm) Traffic lights shows 33 seconds of green remaining, scooters can turn right. Scooters can turn right on red, cars can't.

Minion wind-up toys, for Annie, in the street markets. Selfie with Saigon evening traffic. Sweet rice dessert. 30,000 VND if you speak vietnamese, 60,00 if you don't (really). Still, that's about $2.50 US. Different colors are different flavors. Scoop up some, add sugar and what looks like powdered coconut. Bob likes it, too sweet for Sue.
