Windmill farm just north-east of the town of Palmerston North.	Driving through Manawatu Gorge to get to the other side of the mountain range, to get to the windmill farm.		Windmills on the top of the hills (where it's most windy, duh :-)

		The gorge has a railroad on the other side, with pretty bridges	To Mark 100 Years of Railway Tradition The Manawatu Gorge 9th March 1991		Like a tree farm - trees planted in rows for the logging industry. These planted trees are all over the place. The logging companies clear-cut the trees when they're grown enough, then replant the hillside to regrow.

	At the front of a car parking space, each one is labeled "3 <--" or "5 -->" showing it's the 3rd or 5th or whatever parking space from the parking meter on the left or right.	A single parking meter handles 8 parking spaces.	Sounds Interesting!	But it's really a soda / shakes / sundaes restaurant.	Toilets, handicapped, nappy (diaper) changing, shower. At the local I-Site in Palmy North - all the cities have these.

	At the supermarket parking lot, "Trolley Park" - where to drop off your shopping cart.	Back at the farmstay :-), herding Malty into the barn. Fran enticed her in with some cauliflower plants.	Woo-hoo -- Sue gets to milk a cow!	Sue's first time. Very tiring on the hands!	The pretty Holden (Australian manufacturer), all clean and waxed

	The farmhouse fron the front. Fresh paint, looks nice!	Sunny bright yellow kitchen with pretty blue wallpaper on the bottom	The border is the way cool square cows, square sheep, and square chickens	Pooh and Tigger clock	Kitchen in the background, living room in the foreground. Huge doorways between all the rooms gives a very light and airy feeling to all the rooms.
