	This is a roadside turn-off just before the (pay-for) Wai-o-tapu area.	This little area has (we think) better mud-pots	'Mr Splutchy' - great plopping mud pots	Fran and Sue could have watched all day	See videos of Mr Splutchy at the bottom of the index page - wonderful!

	Looking across the valley to where we'll be going		Pretty purple/blue berries	Gorgeous ferns	The paths / stairs are often windy here - in the US most steps in hiking trails just go straight up and down, they don't circle around like a circular stairway.

		It is a pretty waterfall	Lake at the bottom of the waterfall. Trail ends here.	Going back up the circle trail, great colors	Sulphur Mounds

	Primrose Terraces from right next to them	Looks like a river, but it's just a thin layer of water on the sinter rock	Down next to the Artist's Palette, choking fumes and too much steam to see much from down here	Steam obscures most of the colors

Videos of mud pots and boiling ponds. These are all at the roadside stop, very near Wai-o-tapu. Most are very short - around 10 to 15 seconds. The longest one, at 48 seconds, is a 9 meg download. The 10-15 second ones are 2-3 meg.
