Chill out guys, we're only about half done...

More general forum, you can see the Arch of Titus on the right.  The arch of Titus is covered in pretty statues...we will see the arch of titus again.  :-)

Here is where Julius Caesar was cremated.  Keep in mind that EVERYTHING used to be covered in white, pink, black, and green marble.  It's all been removed during later periods to use elsewhere.

hehe!  I promised!  Detail of the Arch of Titus.  :-)

More Arch of Titus.  And a confused girl that seemed to think I was taking a picture of her, when she was the one who stumbled into what would have been a really good shot.  grrr.

Arch detail.

more...  (that's dad's head in a dorky canvas bucket cap.)  I guess it's better than at stonehenge.  ;-)

The ruins of the Basilica Julia.  It used to be really amazing and beautiful.  One of the prettiest structures in the forum.

A statue of Remus and Romulus.  Romulus, according to mythology, killed Remus and founded Rome.  ROMulus/ROMa...get it?

uh...statues.  Sorry, i just can't help myself.

I tried to use the lamppost to censor this, but I couldn't get the right angle.  ;-)
